The Walleye Inn is our hotel in Baudette and an extension of the River Bend Resort family. Hotel guests receive all the benefits of resort fishing with our custom packages. Come stay in a warm, comfortable room for the night, and catch a variety of walleye and other trophy fish in a day house out on the lake.
Our Walleye Inn Hotel is located just a short drive south of our main Resort in the town of Baudette, MN. All pricing is based on two persons staying together in one of our comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed double rooms.
All rooms are equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. Continental breakfast is provided each morning of your stay or you may want to head out to Miles Lab Bar & Grill located at the Resort where you can enjoy our breakfast buffet from 6:00 to 8:00 AM.

You will meet our guides at Miles Lab Bar & Grill located at River Bend Resort each morning. You will be lead out to your ice house at 7:30AM sharp! Please arrive early to check in. You will be given an ice road pass that will allow you to drive to and from your ice house on your own time if you wish. Our guides will monitor you throughout the day making sure you are comfortable and catching fish.
All our ice houses are spaciously comfortable for the specified number of fishermen and always preheated with two pre-drilled holes for each person. We also provide lights, bait, ice scoop, fish cleaning, fish buckets, garbage bags, disposal bags, and toilet paper. Heated transportation is available to you during your time with us at your request.
Pricing is Per Person based on designated minimums that vary depending on availability at the time of booking.
Minimums: All packages require a 2-night/2-day minimum stay on weekends and holidays.
Optional Meal Plans: Add a meal plan for only $55 per person per day and receive breakfast, “cook’s choice” sack lunch, & dinner from our menu. Served at our resort restaurant “Miles Lab Bar & Grill.”

Smoking: 100% Non-Smoking Policy for all of our rental units (all cabins, rooms, sleepers, and ice houses). A $200 cleaning fee is automatically billed to your card on file if a smoking violation occurs.
Pets are allowed at a nominal fee of $20 per pet, per day.

Lake of the Woods is abundant with walleye, sauger, northern pike, lake sturgeon, perch, crappie, tulibie, whitefish, bourbon (or eelpout), and even muskie.
The Walleye Inn is in Baudette, and the River Bend Resort is situated about 12 minutes noths on the banks of the Rainy River the mouth of Lake of the Woods. We’re on the point north of Baudette.
Lake of the Woods is abundant with Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Perch, Crappie, Tulibie, Whitefish, Bourbon or Eelpout, and even Muskie.
Ice houses are portable shelters placed on the frozen surface of the lake for ice fishing. They provide warmth, shelter, and convenience, enhancing the ice fishing experience by protecting anglers from the elements while offering a comfortable space to fish. They are also called ice shacks, ice cabins, shantys, and similar. While this page focuses on day houses, we also offer sleeper ice houses which are equipped for overnight fishing.
Yes, our ice houses are pet-friendly. In fact, dogs are welcome on our entire resort. Many of our guests bring their dogs on an ice fishing adventure on Lake of the Woods and stay in our cabins and ice houses.
Our ice houses come equipped with heating systems, comfortable seating, fishing holes, storage space, restroom facilities located nearby, and everything else you see on this page, ensuring a cozy and convenient Lake of the Woods ice fishing experience.
Our ice houses vary in size, accommodating anywhere from 2 to 6 people, depending on the specific model and layout. For larger groups, we recommend renting more than one unit and can place them close together.
Over the years, we’ve come to know all the best ice fishing locations on Lake of the Woods in our area. We continually move our ice shacks strategically based on new information to give you the best chances of catching fish.
