Known as “The Walleye Capital of The World”, Lake of the Woods boasts one million acres of water with over 15,000 islands that stretch out over American and Canadian waters.

Fishing on Lake of the Woods in Minnesota is a distinctive experience, set apart by the lake’s immense size, international waters spanning the U.S. and Canada, and a diverse array of fish species.

It’s abundant with Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Perch, Crappie, Tulibie, Whitefish, Bourbon or Eelpout, and even Muskie.

It’s almost like an inland sea, where anglers can explore a variety of habitats, including islands and rocky structures, making it a year-round destination and haven for those seeking variety and adventure on the water.
