Yes, we have experienced USCG OUPV licensed captains that operate our charters in the summer during open water season, and experienced and knowledgeable fishing guides to enhance your ice fishing experience on Lake of the Woods.
Absolutely! River Bend Resort offers top-quality fishing equipment rentals for our guests. During the winter ice fishing season, we have rod and reel combos, tackle box, and flasher rentals available. If you are staying in one of our sleeper houses on the ice, we have generators available to rent as well.

Yes, we have ice fishing packages available for an unmatched ice fishing experience during the winter season. Lodging in our cabins, fishing in our day houses, ice camping out in one of our sleeper houses. Ice fishing packages or DIY lodging is also available from our Walleye Inn location.
Definitely! We offer activities and accommodations suitable for family members of all ages. Also Lake of the Woods County is full of seasonal outdoor activities. Golfing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, foraging or hunting in 1000+ acres state parks and forests are great opportunities that involve the whole family. There is also the fishing!
Also, we love pets! River Bend Resort is pet-friendly. We have named our on-site bar and restaurant (Miles Lab Bar & Grill) after our recently departed chocolate lab Miles. We do have some guidelines in place to ensure the comfort of all guests. We also charge a daily pet fee for additional cleaning needed between reservations. Please contact us for specifics.
Of course! Lake of the Woods is boat-friendly, and we have docking facilities available. Ask about boat slip rental to bring your own boat. Each slip has shore power available, with 4 point tie offs to secure your boat when not out on the water. Ropes not included.
Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi for our guests.
Every season offers a unique fishing experience and abundance of opportunity to catch fish. Spring and fall runs up the Rainy River are generated by the spawning schedules. With Summer and winter seasons focusing on fishing chasing bait schools in the Big Traverse and Little Traverse Bay on Lake of the Woods.
