Northerns, Walleye, and Bass OH MY!
As we move into June, the season for monster sturgeon is taking a bit of a break, but other species of fun catches are just getting ramped up! Perch, Crappies, Northern Pike, and Bass are always likely to land on your hook, but at the end of May, we start seeing those larger species that so many anglers look for when fishing Baudette MN waters. Walleye and Sauger tend to be a little sparse in the spring, but mid-May they start to come out in full force. Musky begin to make their comeback around the middle of June, and when July rolls around, those giant Sturgeon make their way back to our hooks. The summer months are full of opportunities for incredible fishing on Lake of the Woods and Rainy River.
